Let me be your guide. I believe in your ability to give birth, even if you’re not quite there yet, that’s why I’m here for you. This class is designed to support you through every stage of preparing for your new bundle of joy. Whether you’re planning a hospital, home, or birth center delivery, this is a judgment-free space where your voice, fears, and thoughts are heard.

Classes are interactive and hands-on, with demonstrations to help you truly understand and retain what you learn. You’ll walk away with practical tools, evidence-based information, and a renewed sense of confidence in your body’s abilities.

• How to prepare your mind, body, and environment during pregnancy

• The meaning of informed consent

• How to advocate for yourself

• Overcoming fear and building confidence

• The normal, natural process of labor and birth and the health care practices that support it

• Changes during late pregnancy and the stages of labor

• A variety of coping strategies for managing pain in labor

• The importance of labor support

• Movement and positioning during labor and birth

• Medical interventions: their indications, risks, and alternatives

• How to develop a birth plan

You’ll leave this course feeling confident, inspired, and excited for the birth ahead.

It’s recommended that your first class takes place no later than 34 weeks of pregnancy. While many sources suggest starting around 27 weeks, you’re welcome to take the Birth Guidance 4-Week Series earlier. Birth Guidance classes are memorable, interactive, and designed to make learning last.

Location Policy

All 4-Week Group Series classes are held at Glasswing Massage. The use of this private space is already included in your class fee.
